Portfolio Changes

I haven’t been able to post recent entries as I’ve been a bit wrapped up with work. This week, I made some changes to the holdings. Here are the changes, more details to follow this weekend:

– Sold Palladon Ventures: Recently Luxor Capital took over 70% control of the company, as the company could not pay off the debt or roll it forward. I entered the Palladon position as a speculative play. One of the reasons for buying was the management changes. With Luxor Capital, I’m not that familiar with their management or how they plan to impact the company’s future plan. So it was better to sell it.  There is also another potential buy that I think will be a huge play in the long run, it is currently selling at a big discount compared to what the future potential is.

– Sold Combimatrix: I still like the management, like what they are doing, and believe the upside potential is huge. Although I decided to sell because of the other investment opportunity where I like the company, management, and the business model.

So, what, you’re leaving us hanging on what the “potential buy” is?
